This is the perfect place if you have any occasions near the Montague. An abundance of popular venues is available such as the Banquet & Event Center at High Point Golf Club, Riverview Inn and Lightup the Spectrum Inclusion Center to name a few.

The House 

This inviting home features three large and spacious bedrooms: a master bedroom with a king-size bed and an en suite bathroom, a second bedroom equipped with two queen-size beds, and a third bedroom with one queen-size bed and its own en suite bathroom. The residence includes a total of three bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a formal dining room ideal for shared meals, and a cozy living room perfect for relaxing evenings. Additionally, an enclosed back porch offers a serene view of Mashipacong Island. **The fireplace is unable to be used as of now**

Property Area: 

We have a Ring doorbell camera and one outdoor camera facing the driveway. There are no indoor cameras. 

The property is located in 1.72 acres of land with a river stream located behind the house. The river stream area features stunning views of Mashipacong Island. Enjoy seasonal views, abundant wildlife, and the chance to see Bald and Golden Eagles that frequent the property.

The property and islands offer unmatched scenery, seasonal beauty, and incredible opportunities to observe birds and wildlife in their natural habitat.

The property has a rich history being it is near a large historic island. These islands on the river where the Bennykill Channels stems from are also historic because they are known to have been locations where Native Americans would reside or visit through their spiritual beliefs or because of living in the area areas.

Our home is very close and central to numerous year-round 4 season amenities in the Tri-state area including: trailing, hiking, river tubbing, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, zip-lining, archery, paint ball, zoo/Museum visit, snow tubbing, skiing, sledding, bird watching, shopping centers, restaurants, etc. Touristic/recreational locations and amenities with most summer and winter activities being only 5 mins to 40 mins away depending on location such as: 

Delaware River and Eden Islands River frontage (4 mins), Historic Tri-state monument (7 mins), City of Port Jervis, NY (7 mins), Milford, PA (15 mins), High point State Park and monument for panoramic views and trailing views/hiking and lake swimming (10 mins), Point Peter panoramic views at Elks-Brox Memorial Park (10 mins), Delaware River Water Gap for trailing/hiking and water fall viewing (15 mins), Tamerlane Farms in Montague, NJ (10 mins), Sunflower maze Sandyston, NJ (15 mins), Space Farms Zoo and Museum, NJ (20 mins), Mountain creek Resort, NJ (35 mins), Legoland resort, NY (35 mins), and Shawnee Resort, PA (40-60 mins), etc.

Prior to initiating the booking process, it will be necessary for you to undergo identity verification and provide your ID, as well as submitting a damage deposit. 
 
Important: We are committed to protecting our properties and keeping up to date with short-term rental regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent verification. 

Please note: Before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details with us to complete your booking. You will be contacted automatically via email and/or text to complete the verification. 

Other details to note: 

Please keep in mind that groups larger than 4 guests will include an extra guest fee of $35/guest per night after 4 guests in the total booking amount.

We are one of the few stay locations that accepts house trained pets. There is a 3 pet maximum allowance and it is $30/per pet, per night fee. For certified therapy dogs please be prepared to show proof of your certification to avoid the fee. Thank you.

You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. 
 
Kindly note the following: 
 
**If you choose to pay a refundable deposit, the $750.00 damage deposit will be automatically charged to your card. 
**The damage deposit will be refunded 7 days after the check-out day. 
**The damage waiver fee is $75.00, and it cannot be refunded. 
**There is a small non-refundable $20 fee associated with the "Know Your Guest" Verification process for the damage deposit fee transaction. 
 
**Failure to comply with our policy and house rules will result in the cancellation of the booking without issuing a refund.
