RIVER VIEWS & ACCESS, ISLAND ADVENTURE
TOURS ARE AVAILABLE FROM JULY TO SEPTEMBER ONLY
We will have a rare nature adventure in a unique private Delaware river island property in Montague, NJ. Beautiful views and memorable moments. Whether interested in a relaxing river view, trailing, or nature walk you will go home with incredible memories.
Only 90 Minutes away from New York City, 10 minutes away from the NJ Transit Metro North Port Jervis Rail Station, central and close proximity to NJ/NY/PA areas.
The adventure begins by crossing the Bennykill Channel from our mainland property by foot or on our wood ferry depending on the water level. Once landing on the island our nature journey starts to explore around the island with the planned activity stops and include:
- History on the island, monuments, and surrounding Delaware river area, 30 minutes
- Island resident bald eagle nest education and views, 15 minutes
- Rest and picture taking stop with views of the south end of Delaware river, 30 minutes
- Fishing and swimming on the Bennykill Channel, 30-60 minutes
- Lunch time at island picnic table area with views of the Delaware river. Locally produced and catered food, 1 hour
- Return and summarize journey in Main property, 30 minutes.
Other things to note:
Transportation must be arranged to arrive at the specified address provided. Swimming apparel, towels, and any extra clothes needed should be brought as well.
